Job Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
- ability to work part-time schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week including varied shifts
- must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- basic math skills for cash handling
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- customer service experience preferred
- willingness to learn and adapt in a team setting
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally
- maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- advise guests on menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders and special accommodations
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- address guest complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
- set up and maintain dining room before and after service
- operate dining room equipment including beverage machines and fire extinguishers
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
