Job Requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work part-time schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week including varied shifts
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
  • ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • customer service experience preferred
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a team setting

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
  • deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • advise guests on menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders and special accommodations
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • address guest complaints or issues promptly and report to supervisor
  • set up and maintain dining room before and after service
  • operate dining room equipment including beverage machines and fire extinguishers
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
