Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum one year serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Manual dexterity sufficient for kitchen equipment and utensils use
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without extended sitting
- Ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Assist in delivery of culinary activities in all dining venues including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations® memory care and Club Room
- Provide professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely service following The Sterling Touch® standards
- Enhance the dining experience for residents, family members and guests
- Support special events and private functions
- Work under the general guidance of the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor
- Follow community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, residents, and guests
