Job Requirements

  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and written as required to serve guests and supervise dining room activities
  • Understands basic math concepts as required to total costs and make change
  • Proficient use of restaurant equipment including but not limited to such things as headset, microphone and Aloha or View Touch operating systems
  • Minimum six months previous restaurant industry experience based upon management's discretion
  • Food Handler's Permit where applicable
  • Physical ability to work primarily standing for long periods with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to perform various tasks and assist shift teammates
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced dining environment and multitask effectively

  • Proficient use of restaurant equipment including headset, microphone and Aloha or View Touch operating systems
  • Food handler's permit where applicable

Job Duties

  • Responsible for greeting and seating all guests using standard greeting and six steps of service
  • Presents menu and answers questions, suggestively sells menu items using sizzle words
  • Answers phone calls promptly and directs or takes orders as necessary
  • Records guests orders on check accurately
  • Relays orders to kitchen and serves courses
  • Prepares and suggests drinks and desserts, stocks service bars
  • Observes guests dining experience, responds to requests and completes meals
  • Totals bill and accepts payment or refers to cashier
  • Clears and resets tables and counters after meals and shifts
  • Assumes additional responsibilities to support team and operations
