Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to stand or walk 100% of the shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- must read and write handwritten notes
- adhere to company dress code and maintain professional appearance
- compliance with alcohol awareness procedures
- strong communication skills to listen and interact with guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- knowledge of Micros point-of-sale system preferred
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an advantage
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor promptly informed of all significant problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company's sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
- follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests appropriately
- assess guest demeanor and report concerning behavior to a manager
- greet newly seated guests promptly
- accurately take food and drink orders
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and answer guest questions
- enter orders into Micros system quickly and accurately
- ensure food is properly garnished and delivers trays to designated tables
- work quickly and efficiently following 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- buss and reset tables as needed
- assist other team members as needed
- complete sales on personal Micros keys and station side work at shift start and end
- participate in incentives and contests to drive sales
- follow portion guidelines to control costs while maximizing guest experience
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery and responding promptly to guest needs
- keep station clean and maintain proper table setup
- maintain favorable working relationships with team members
- communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- demonstrate ability to operate Micros, conduct credit card transactions, and account for monies at shift end
- adhere to proper dress code and maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance
