- must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- satisfactorily pass a server aptitude test with an 85 percent or higher
- basic mathematical skills
- basic reading and writing skills
- must be able to make correct change

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or customer service roles preferred
- knowledge of food and beverage products
- proficient with point of sale systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- demonstrated ability to handle multiple tables and responsibilities
- understanding of responsible alcohol service
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- experience with suggestive selling and upselling techniques
Job Duties
- complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work thoroughly and efficiently
- serve multiple tables as determined by management
- arrive to work on time with proper uniform and readiness
- maintain a neat and clean uniform and good personal hygiene
- have complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparation
- sell alcohol and food items responsibly
- efficiently take all orders using the hand-held computer device
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner with Aloha
- accept various payment types and make change accurately
- maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant through side work
- clear and reset tables
- check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- observe guests consuming alcohol and offer assistance if necessary
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- approach each table promptly and communicate wait times
- complete Micros training program
- memorize all table numbers
- upsell food and beverages effectively
- carry drinks on a tray and handle glasses properly
- use polite language in communication
- address customer complaints with management involvement
- assist or perform busser duties when needed
- avoid walking through dining room with empty hands
- inform customers promptly of order delays
- warn guests of hot plates or beverages
- notify manager of potential intoxication
- present guest checks professionally and inform payment procedures
- commit to cleanliness of station and restaurant
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
