Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, handle objects, bend, stoop, and use hands effectively
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
  • Willingness to follow CDC, local, and state safety and sanitation procedures
  • Dependable with exceptional teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent guest service skills and experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Detail oriented with multitasking abilities
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Computer skills including POS system experience
  • 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of commonly used restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to accomplish goals

Job Duties

  • Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items are prepared properly and provided timely per company standards
  • Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
  • Describe menu items properly and maintain company quality food standards
  • Input orders accurately into the POS system
  • Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
  • Handle food prep equipment safely
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve management when appropriate
  • Communicate and interact with guests to provide comfort while they wait for meals
  • Assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other assigned duties
