Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, handle objects, bend, stoop, and use hands effectively
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
- Willingness to follow CDC, local, and state safety and sanitation procedures
- Dependable with exceptional teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Detail oriented with multitasking abilities
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Computer skills including POS system experience
- 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of commonly used restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items are prepared properly and provided timely per company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
- Describe menu items properly and maintain company quality food standards
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Handle food prep equipment safely
- Effectively handle guest complaints and involve management when appropriate
- Communicate and interact with guests to provide comfort while they wait for meals
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other assigned duties
