Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience in the restaurant industry
- Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands and have good vision including color and depth perception
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively
- Capability to work flexible hours including early shifts
- Must comply with safety and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient computer skills including POS system operation
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of restaurant industry practices and procedures
Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring quality standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to assist with menu selections
- Promote new promotions and product information to guests
- Describe food items accurately and maintain food quality standards
- Accurately input orders into POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with side work as assigned
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Handle guest complaints effectively and involve management when necessary
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
