Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Capable of physically performing medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to perform activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Vision requirements include distance sight, depth perception, color vision and field of vision
- Able to deal with a few concrete variables
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether in the designated department or elsewhere in the store
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service including taking customer orders
- Checks with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct any problems
- Collects payments from customers
- Writes patrons' food orders on order slips, memorizes orders, or enters orders into computers for transmittal to restaurant staff
- Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
- Takes orders from patrons for food or beverages
- Checks patrons' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages
- Serves food or beverages to patrons and prepares or serves specialty dishes at tables as required
- Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
- Cleans tables or counters after patrons have finished dining
- Prepares hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons and chills bottles of wine
- Stocks service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
- Maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines
- Reports to work on time as scheduled
- Is knowledgeable of all menu items including bar offerings
- Accurately reports tip income
