Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in hospitality or senior living food service
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to prepare and serve food safely and efficiently
  • Must pass background check and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service, or senior living preferred
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making
  • Experience with food preparation and serving in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with residents and staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours including full-time or part-time shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food to residents within scheduled time frames
  • Clean and maintain food service areas, including kitchen and dining room
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Provide friendly, respectful service creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Collaborate with team members to meet dining needs and schedules
