Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in hospitality or senior living food service
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to prepare and serve food safely and efficiently
- Must pass background check and comply with health and safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service, or senior living preferred
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making
- Experience with food preparation and serving in a timely manner
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with residents and staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including full-time or part-time shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food to residents within scheduled time frames
- Clean and maintain food service areas, including kitchen and dining room
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Provide friendly, respectful service creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Collaborate with team members to meet dining needs and schedules
