Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of relevant serving experience
- passion for food, strong work ethic, and desire for personal and professional growth
- current Food Handler’s card or ability to obtain upon hire
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to perform effectively during busy service hours
- genuine passion for serving and connecting with seniors in our community
- ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and 20-30 lbs repetitively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- associate degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
- current Food Handler’s card or ability to obtain upon hire
- current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 18 months
- strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation standards
- proven customer service skills
- experience working with diverse populations including aging, minority, and low-income populations
- good verbal and written communication skills
- organizational and recordkeeping skills
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a courteous and welcoming manner
- take food and beverage orders accurately
- serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently
- ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- assist with setup and breakdown of dining room before and after service
- communicate clearly with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service flow
