Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
  • Weekend availability
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Courteously serve all residents and their guests, answer dining related questions
  • Offer specials and complete orders by asking appropriate questions
  • Maintain dining room and work areas clean and orderly according to department standards
  • Handle all glassware and silverware safely and reset tables according to procedures
  • Assist other departmental staff with assigned duties and training, perform duties independently with minimal supervision
  • Make suggestions for improvement in food and service and participate in meetings providing feedback
  • Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure, collaborate with co-workers while remaining positive and respectful
