Job Requirements

  • Able to obtain valid food handler's card
  • Able to obtain valid OLCC servers permit
  • Consistently practice proper hand-washing and food handling techniques
  • Able to arrive to work on time and in proper uniform
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to accurately count and track multiple transactions
  • Ability to use Micros POS system
  • Good time-management skills
  • Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrate consistent and effective hand-washing techniques as directed by health authorities
  • Practice proper food handling techniques per government health department guidelines
  • Accurately perform basic mathematics
  • Display punctuality and readiness to start scheduled shifts
  • Show basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Maintain friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers and management
  • Accurately manage multiple transactions and receipts including various forms of payment
  • Competently use Micros POS system according to house protocols
  • Exhibit good time-management skills to complete tasks timely

Job Duties

  • Greet specified tables and take guest meal and beverage orders
  • Follow all procedures outlined in training and employee service, alcohol, and safety handbooks
  • Arrive to work as scheduled and prepared to assume shift responsibilities
  • Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards
  • Be aware of specials and menu offerings before greeting tables
  • Accurately send orders to the kitchen in a timely manner without errors
  • Clear service items and run food and beverages for assigned and other tables
  • Deliver guest checks and comment cards promptly and handle payments correctly
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit until they leave the restaurant
  • Assist the Expeditor by running food as needed
  • Follow company accounting policies regarding cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Comply with all employee handbook policies and departmental training manuals
  • Follow management directions including sidework and cleaning tasks
  • Adhere to Break Policy as outlined by BOLI and management
