Job Requirements

At least one year experience as a server in a full service restaurant
Basic math skills necessary for cash handling
Food handler or liquor permits as required
Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
Ability to operate point of sale systems
Ability to recall and promote menu items

Job Qualifications

At least one year experience as a server in a full service restaurant
Excellent guest service skills
Proficient in verbal and written English
Basic math skills to operate a cash register and handle payments
Food handler or liquor permits as required by law
Brand certification as required
Ability to remember and promote menu items
Proficient in using point of sale systems
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service
Effective communication skills with guests

Job Duties

Greet all guests and escort them to their table
Follow the guest program's steps of service including presentation of menus, making recommendations, and answering beverage questions
Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
Prepare dishes for service including ladling soup, cutting desserts, and brewing coffee
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
Perform side work at shift start and end as assigned
Maintain clean service areas
Monitor guest dining experience and ensure satisfaction
Prepare final bill, present check, process payment
Clear dishes and ensure payment completion
Sweep, mop floors, restock items, and wipe workstations
Assist fellow servers and utility associates
Thank guests and invite them to return
Perform other duties as assigned
