Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or similar role preferred
- ability to obtain Food Handlers card
- successful completion of Serv-Safe training
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- ability to provide courteous and respectful service

Job Duties
- Perform full service server duties during lunch and dinner meals
- assist residents with dining needs in a timely manner
- clear, clean and set dining room tables following proper procedures
- perform dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed
- follow safety regulations and infection control policies
- schedule and assign tasks to dining room staff
- orient and train dining room staff
- maintain an orderly and clean pantry
- ensure adequate floor stock and proper labeling in pantries
- document food and equipment temperatures
- properly label and store food items
- maintain personal hygiene and comply with dress code
- attend in-service training sessions
- participate in campus foodservice supervisor activities
- suggest improvements in service, menus, atmosphere, and maintenance
