Berry Fresh Cafe is a family-owned and operated restaurant established in 2009 in Port St. Lucie, FL. Since its inception, the cafe has expanded to five locations including Jupiter, Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, and an upcoming site in West Palm Beach. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to listen, understand, and respond to team member and guest requests in a loud environment
  • Skill and coordination when using hands to write, pour, and carry several drinks, plates, and bowls at the same time
  • Availability to work weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus is a plus

Job Duties

  • Understand our guest-obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience
  • Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu- and service-related questions
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with each guest regularly and anticipating their needs
  • Handle guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues plus one to ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Support team members to maintain a smooth and efficient service flow
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
