Job Requirements

  • Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school
  • Experience in food service work preferred
  • Experience working with seniors preferred
  • Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to stand or walk for 100% of the workday
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds independently
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds independently
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak
  • Willingness to work full time from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization at all times
  • Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times
  • Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards consistently
  • Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
  • Take orders, provide service and requested items graciously and courteously
  • Answer questions about menu items
  • Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service
  • Assist with dishwashing and reset tables
  • Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
  • Knowledgeably serve diets per Policy and Procedure
  • Represent community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment
  • Support a culture that drives top-line revenue and occupancy
