Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests
Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must comply with local health and safety regulations
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a server or in customer service is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
Practice positive public relations by ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive
Be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
Show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
Promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
Understand product specifications and verify guests' receipts match the number of guests in the party
Perform opening, closing procedures and side work duties
Report equipment and facility problems to the manager
Follow correct table bussing procedures
Follow safe work practices to ensure personal and coworker safety
Perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
Follow local health department laws
