Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
- able to work well in a fast-paced and pressured environment
- ability to see, speak, and hear customers and coworkers effectively in a noisy, crowded setting
- must attend all scheduled staff meetings
- will be scheduled for server shifts and host/expo shifts regularly with corresponding wages and tip arrangements
- must consistently arrive to work as scheduled and in proper uniform
- must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Able to obtain a valid food handler's card and valid OLCC servers permit
- demonstrates consistent and proper hand-washing and food handling techniques as outlined by the health department
- able to perform basic mathematics accurately
- able to arrive to work on time and ready to start the scheduled shift
- displays a basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- maintains a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers and management
- able to accurately manage all types of transactions with no errors
- proficient in using Micros POS system following house protocols
- demonstrates good time-management skills
- able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Duties
- Greet specified tables in a timely manner according to company policy
- take all food and beverage orders accurately according to company policy
- send food and beverage orders to the kitchen promptly with no errors
- hand-clear service items and run beverages and food for assigned tables and other sections as directed
- deliver guest checks and comment cards promptly and return payment accurately
- ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- assist the Expeditor as needed by running food
- follow all company accounting policies regarding cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- comply with all employee handbooks and departmental training manuals
- follow management directions positively, including sidework and cleaning duties
- comply with all required break policies as outlined by BOLI and management
