Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods without rest
- Capable of pushing, lifting, carrying, and transferring up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands and fingers effectively
- Ability to bend, stoop, and verbally communicate clearly
- Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation procedures according to CDC and local guidelines
- Ability to perform all essential duties with dependability and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize tasks with good organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills, especially with POS systems
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, ensuring items are prepared properly and delivered on time following company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Inform guests of new promotions and product information
- Describe menu items accurately and maintain quality standards by serving only food that meets company expectations
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Safely handle food preparation equipment such as knives, coffee makers, and iced tea machines
- Effectively manage guest complaints and involve management as appropriate
- Engage and interact with guests, manage crowds, and ease any waiting time for meals or carryout orders
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
