Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar server role
- availability to work part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- must maintain safe food handling practices
- must be able to operate relevant dining room equipment
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
- maintain communication with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests accommodated
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along with others
- remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain high sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is set up properly before and after service
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
