Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to work 6 am-2:30 pm or 11 am-8 pm shifts including every other weekend
prior customer service or food service experience preferred
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
ability to communicate in English effectively

Job Qualifications

Prior experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred
ability to understand and follow instructions in English
effective communication skills
ability to interpret and explain the menu
ability to coordinate meal service process and understand requests
ability to work closely with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors, and peers with courtesy, tact, and graciousness
willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing work environment

Job Duties

Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
take orders and provide timely service
answer questions about the menu
clear dishes from tables and after meal service
maintain a clean working environment
assist in maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and their guests
assist with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes if needed
maintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas
