Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently
  • Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
  • Must follow company safety and security policies
  • Must maintain professional appearance
  • Must protect company assets and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to perform closing duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Experience using point-of-sale systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware
  • Complete closing duties including restocking and turning off lights
  • Present accurate check to guests and process payment
  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Assist guests with special needs and thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving objects, walking on uneven surfaces, and reaching overhead and below the knees
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
