Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently
- Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
- Must follow company safety and security policies
- Must maintain professional appearance
- Must protect company assets and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to perform closing duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Experience using point-of-sale systems preferred
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards
- Answer questions on menu selections
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
- Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware
- Complete closing duties including restocking and turning off lights
- Present accurate check to guests and process payment
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Assist guests with special needs and thank guests with genuine appreciation
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving objects, walking on uneven surfaces, and reaching overhead and below the knees
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
