Job Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris, and wipe booth seats
- Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Must have good balance and be able to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Frequently lift and bus pans and trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
- Ability to carry high chairs up to 15 pounds
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- High School Degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee’s team delivery
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles payments
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- Serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using Applebee’s team delivery
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Writes and repeats guest orders to ensure accuracy
- Accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- Occasionally serves as Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server
- Performs general utility tasks requested by management
