Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state regulations
ability to pass yearly team certification
prior server experience
possess a state health and/or alcohol compliance card
capable of working long hours, including weekends and holidays
able to stand and move continuously throughout shifts
strong communication skills
must maintain neat, clean uniform and personal hygiene
willingness to comply with safety and ethical standards
ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

Prior server experience
knowledge of food and beverage preparation
ability to sell alcohol legally
capable of using a computer order system
strong customer service and interpersonal skills
ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
commitment to guest satisfaction
ethical conduct and initiative
physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Job Duties

Sell and serve food and drinks in a professional manner
serve three to four tables as determined by management
maintain complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
sell alcohol and food items responsibly
use a computer to ring orders on a check
interact with guests in a friendly, fast, and hospitable manner
accept different types of payment and make change
maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant through side work
clear and reset tables
check guest identification for legal alcohol consumption
observe guest behavior and offer transportation alternatives if necessary
treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed personal hygiene
