Job Duties
- Complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work thoroughly and efficiently
- Serve multiple tables as determined by management
- Arrive to work on time with proper uniform and ready to work
- Maintain neat and clean appearance adhering to standards of dress policy
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Sell alcohol and food items as needed
- Take orders efficiently using hand-held ordering devices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and timely manner with Aloha
- Accept various payment types and make accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Check identification for legal age to consume alcoholic beverages and refuse service if necessary
- Monitor guest behavior regarding alcohol consumption and offer assistance such as taxi service if needed
- Strive for complete guest satisfaction and exceed expectations
- Approach each table promptly or communicate delays
- Complete Micros training program successfully
- Memorize table numbers
- Employ suggestive selling to up-sell food and beverages
- Carry drinks on a tray and handle glassware properly
- Card guests appearing under 30 with enforcement of no ID no service policy
- Address guest complaints professionally and seek manager intervention when required
- Assist with busser duties and never walk empty-handed in dining area
- Inform customers of order delays
- Warn guests about hot plates or beverages
- Use polite language consistently in kitchen and guest interactions
- Report intoxicated guests to management
- Present checks properly and know accepted payment forms
- Maintain cleanliness of personal station and overall restaurant
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Be familiar with roles of Host, Cashier, Bartender, and Telephone Etiquette guidelines
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager-on-duty
