Job Requirements
- 18+ years old
- reliable transportation required
- ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to four hours
- ability to wipe down tables and booth seats
- ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets frequently
- must have good balance and ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel
- ability to lift and bus pans and trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to carry high chairs weighing up to 15 pounds
- friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
- bi-lingual experience a plus
- high school degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greet guests, answer questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu options
- completes assigned opening and closing side work as scheduled
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons and processes payments accurately
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- writes and repeats guest orders to ensure accuracy
- accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- occasionally serves guests in Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server roles
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
