Job Requirements
- must be available for full-time shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- must be available to work weekends and holidays
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- must maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
- ability to stand for long periods
- willingness to participate in emergency response team training
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work with seniors and understand behaviors associated with dementia
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- ensure that the dining room is clean and is set up to company standards for all meals and functions
- ensure all residents and guests are greeted with a smile and that each resident has a place to sit
- take food orders, present to kitchen staff and deliver meals to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner
- ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and checks food quality and presentation
- respond quickly to resident and guest requests
- interact with guests in the dining room to ensure their satisfaction
- ensure that drinks are poured and refilled timely
