Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be American citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Must pass pre-employment drug test including tests for marijuana and other controlled substances
- Must comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for long periods
- Must strictly abstain from alcohol consumption while on board
- Must successfully complete safety and emergency training required for shipboard employees
- Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, answer menu questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring presentation and garnishing
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, catering evening entertainment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
