Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Must be able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including tests for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Must comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for long periods
  • Must strictly abstain from alcohol consumption while on board
  • Must successfully complete safety and emergency training required for shipboard employees
  • Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, answer menu questions
  • Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring presentation and garnishing
  • Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, catering evening entertainment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
