Job Requirements
- Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, referral sources, and the general public
- Must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance
- Must meet all state health requirements
- Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality helpful but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Capable of working cooperatively in a team environment
- Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
Job Duties
- Set tables
- Bus tables
- Wash dishes
- Assist the cook as needed
- Complete cleaning duties in kitchen and dining areas
- Adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices
- Assist in serving meals to residents
