Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience of at least 6 months
Weekend availability
Ability to work under direction with minimal supervision
Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and regulations
Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance

Previous customer service experience of at least 6 months preferred

Job Duties

Courteously serve all residents and their guests and answer dining related questions
Offer specials and complete orders by asking appropriate questions to customers
Maintain dining room and work areas in a clean and orderly manner according to department standards
Handle glassware and silverware in a safe and sanitary manner and reset tables according to procedures
Assist other departmental staff with duties and training with or without verbal requests
Make suggestions for improvement in food and service and participate in mandatory and regular meetings
Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure while delivering on resident and guest functions and activities
