Job Requirements
- 18 plus years old
- reliable transportation required
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, and pick up debris
- ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- good sense of balance
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel
- frequently lift pans and trays often weighing 25 pounds
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to carry high chairs up to 15 pounds
- ability to work in fast-paced environments with wet floors and loud noises
- ability to follow all state and federal alcohol service laws
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe food certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- bi-lingual experience a plus
- high school degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles cash or credit transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables
- observes guests and anticipates their needs
- maintains clean and organized work areas
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure understanding and order accuracy
- accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- may serve guests in a Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server capacity occasionally
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
