Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two to three years related server experience or training preferred
  • valid driver’s license
  • unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
  • must meet age requirement of at least 19 years to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
  • ability to use POS system
  • ability to use employee self-service HR/payroll database
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • able to work in fast-paced environment
  • ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • regular attendance
  • physical ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds
  • follow safety and hygiene guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • answer questions about the menu
  • make recommendations based on customer preferences
  • describe dishes accurately including ingredients and preparation methods
  • stay updated on current menu choices and specialties
  • answer questions on dietary restrictions or special requests
  • take orders accurately and enter into POS
  • suggest additional items to enhance dining experience
  • coordinate timing with kitchen staff
  • ensure prompt service of food and beverages
  • monitor tables to ensure guest needs are met
  • clear empty dishes as needed
  • prepare tables with napkins, utensils, and condiments
  • handle payment process accurately and timely
  • work at banquet events as scheduled
  • participate in pre-shift meetings and training
  • perform side work as assigned
  • conform to safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
  • follow good personal hygiene guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
