Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service
- Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands for handling objects and controls
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, and color vision
- Must be able to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas
- Must comply with safety and sanitation procedures based on CDC, local, and state guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Computer skills including POS system usage
- 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices in restaurant service
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Take guest orders using menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring company quality standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
- Describe menu items accurately and maintain company food quality standards
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with side work as outlined
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Handle food prep equipment safely
- Manage guest complaints effectively involving management when necessary
- Communicate and interact with guests to put them at ease
- Assist in other job categories as requested
- Perform all other duties as assigned
