Job Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of age
- ability to work part-time day shifts from 7am to 11am weekdays
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- reliable transportation to work
- willingness to undergo background check
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of age
- prior experience in food service preferred but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- dependable and punctual
- courteous and patient demeanor
Job Duties
- Meet with kitchen staff and Director daily to discuss menu and specials
- perform assigned food preparation duties such as brewing coffee and pouring juices
- use correct serving techniques by serving from right and clearing from left
- clear and wash tables after residents finish meals following proper clearing and washing procedures
- prepare tables for the next meal service
- maintain a clean work and dining area at all times
- perform general cleaning assignments posted in the kitchen
