Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach and use hands for manual tasks
- Ability to bend, stoop, and verbally communicate effectively
- Ability to see with close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock and register
- Dependability and teamwork skills

- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize tasks and good organizational skills
- Computer skills including POS system operation
- Knowledge of commonly used restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures

Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Present new promotions and product information to guests
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items by describing food properly and maintaining food quality standards
- Accurately input orders into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Safely operate food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, iced tea machine
- Handle guest complaints effectively and involve management when necessary
- Communicate with guests, manage crowds and maintain guest comfort
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
