Job Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in fine dining
- Proven work history as a fine dining server
- Knowledge of wine, alcohol, and menu items
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Valid ServSafe Food Handlers certificate
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and food items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
- Dexterity to handle plates, glasses, utensils, and POS systems
- Maintain balance while carrying multiple items
- Effective communication in noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in fine dining
- Resume and proven working experience as a fine dining server
- Excellent knowledge of wine, alcohol, and menu items
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- ServSafe Food Handlers certificate
Job Duties
- Interact with customers, take orders and drinks
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Plan and present menus and drink lists
- Execute full dinner and wine service
- Know the steps of service
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Maintain side work throughout all parts of your shift
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
