Job Requirements

Flexibility needed for day and evening shifts
Every other weekend is mandatory
Able to successfully complete a background check with acceptable results
High school diploma or GED
Must be 18 years old
Reliable transportation
Kneel, crouch and bend frequently
Must be able to stand for entire shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
Ability to interact courteously and patiently with seniors
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
Plate and serve meals promptly and efficiently, presenting food in an appealing and appetizing manner
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed
Deliver room service trays
Transport residents to and from the dining room
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, following health department regulations and facility policies
Cover breaks for staff
