Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company's sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- accurately take guests' food and drink orders
- maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence using appropriate modifications and charges
- ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables within own and other sections as needed
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to "full hands in, full hands out" philosophy
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- buss and reset tables as needed
- assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- complete station side work at the beginning and end of shifts
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing guest experience
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs timely
- keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
- maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, conduct credit card transactions accurately and account for all monies at shift end
- read and communicate in English
- dressed in proper dress code, neat, clean and professional at all times
- must be at least 18 years of age
