Job Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- Abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
- Complete required emergency and safety training
- Be willing to accept temporary employment for a duration not exceeding 28 weeks
- Adhere to company grooming standards
- Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Maintain a positive and committed attitude throughout employment
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Have the ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Possess moderate physical capability to handle lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Display professionalism and composure under pressure
- Uphold grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Efficiently set-up and break-down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest particular courses and wines and kindly answer any questions regarding menu items
- Efficiently relay orders to the galley and serve various courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
- Maintain a positive attitude and uphold company values while working long shifts
