Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of relevant serving experience
  • current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one upon hire
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to perform during busy service hours
  • passion for food and serving seniors
  • ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and 20-30 lbs repetitively
  • must pass drug test and criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • associate degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
  • current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one upon hire
  • current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 18 months
  • strong knowledge of food sanitation standards
  • proven customer service skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environments
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • experience working with diverse populations
  • ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
  • passion for serving seniors

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive and friendly service to guests
  • ensure accuracy and quality of food orders
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas

  • assist in preparing dining areas for service
