Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Required health screening
- TB clearance
- Criminal record clearance
- Special licenses or certifications such as First Aid/CPR
- Special skills to meet client needs in accordance with California Code of Regulations Sections 85065(f)/87411(g)
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
- Ability to interact compassionately with seniors and accommodate their unique needs
Job Duties
- Greet residents as they are seated and ensure the table is clean with utensils and napkins provided
- Distribute menus and present daily specials while answering menu questions
- Take orders and serve meals and beverages according to resident preferences and dietary requirements
- Deliver food and beverage orders to the kitchen and ensure correct meal preparation
- Collect plates and clear tables as residents finish their meals
- Assist with cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- Support culinary team by maintaining a supply of clean dishes and equipment during meal service
- Assist with kitchen cleanup tasks including removing trash, sweeping, and mopping
- Deliver requested food, beverages, and condiments to residents
- Perform other related duties as assigned
