Job Requirements
- Must be available from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm every day including holidays
- Full-time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment
- All employees must wear dark blue jeans with a black belt
- Wear black non-slip shoes on the first day of work
- No visible tattoos when wearing a short sleeve polo shirt
Job Qualifications
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods up to 6 hours
- Communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of guests
- Maintain exceptional grooming habits
- Possess excellent basic math skills
- Ability to operate a cash register or point-of-sale system
Job Duties
- Welcome guests as they enter
- Greet guests upon arriving at the table and make them feel comfortable
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make genuine meal recommendations
- Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system
- Prepare coffee and tea when necessary
- Prepare toast when necessary
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly
- Perform side work at the start and end of shifts
- Maintain clean service areas including tables, seats, floors and windows
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience and respond promptly to requests
- Prepare final bills, accept payment and process transactions
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Pre-bus and assist with final clearing and cleaning of tables
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations as directed by management
