Job Requirements

  • must have flexible availability to work weekends and holidays
  • must comply with all company policies and procedures
  • must have regular and consistent attendance
  • must be able to work well with other team members, managers, and interact with guests
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • must be able to work long hours and stand on feet for extended periods
  • must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of operational experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred
  • knowledge of wine and spirits
  • knowledge and understanding of the front house as it pertains to Opera, Open Table, word applications, menu development platforms, and functions
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team workers
  • basic math knowledge and understanding
  • ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests during service offering a high-quality experience
  • give detailed, comprehensive menu descriptions and components of each dish
  • respond to guest's needs of dietary requirements and knowledge and handling of such issues
  • be responsive and proactive to guest needs
  • set tone and atmosphere of the dining room with a forward approach and presence
  • understand wines by the glass and basic wine and liquor knowledge
  • assist with food and wine events in any dining capacity
