Job Requirements
- must have flexible availability to work weekends and holidays
- must comply with all company policies and procedures
- must have regular and consistent attendance
- must be able to work well with other team members, managers, and interact with guests
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- must be able to work long hours and stand on feet for extended periods
- must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of operational experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred
- knowledge of wine and spirits
- knowledge and understanding of the front house as it pertains to Opera, Open Table, word applications, menu development platforms, and functions
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team workers
- basic math knowledge and understanding
- ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
Job Duties
- Interact with guests during service offering a high-quality experience
- give detailed, comprehensive menu descriptions and components of each dish
- respond to guest's needs of dietary requirements and knowledge and handling of such issues
- be responsive and proactive to guest needs
- set tone and atmosphere of the dining room with a forward approach and presence
- understand wines by the glass and basic wine and liquor knowledge
- assist with food and wine events in any dining capacity
