Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Must be able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while employed
- Must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Must be willing to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation
- This is temporary employment not exceeding 28 weeks
- Must maintain a positive attitude and composure under pressure
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
- Ability to work under pressure with composure and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Set-up and break-down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring proper presentation and garnishing
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests on embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
- Maintain hospitality standards and uphold company values during all guest interactions
