Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • able to work up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for 28 weeks
  • able to lift, bend, climb and stand or walk for long periods
  • pass mandatory pre-employment drug test
  • no alcohol consumption while onboard
  • adhere to grooming standards
  • temporary position limited to 28 weeks
  • willing to participate in emergency and safety training
  • able to maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years old
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing and walking for extended periods
  • able to pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • willing to follow grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • possess a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • prior hospitality experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set-up and break-down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, answer questions about menu items
  • relay orders accurately to galley and serve food and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
  • perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, catering evening entertainment
