Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • availability to work 28 weeks onboard
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work extended shifts
  • alcohol consumption prohibited during employment
  • willingness to abide by company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day
  • capable of working 7 days a week
  • able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
  • able to pass pre-employment drug test
  • able to comply with grooming standards including limited visible tattoos and piercings
  • positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • willing to comply with safety and emergency training

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • set up and break down meal periods including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • acknowledge guests by name and escort them to their tables
  • present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions
  • relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages properly presented
  • perform additional tasks such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
