Job Requirements

  • High school education preferred
  • minimum one year full service restaurant experience
  • ability to obtain local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • flexibility to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
  • regular attendance in conformance with company standards
  • compliance with company rules and regulations for safe and efficient operation

Job Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
  • minimum one year full service restaurant experience required
  • ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • CPR certification and or first aid training preferred
  • maintain neat clean and well groomed appearance

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • outgoing friendly and courteous demeanor
  • attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • effective communication skills in various situations
  • adhere to sanitation safety and alcohol beverage control policies
  • assist guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu offering cocktails and other beverages suggesting courses explaining the chef's specialties identifying appropriate wines answering food preparation questions
  • address guests' special dietary needs and special requests
  • serve orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from bar and kitchen delivering accompaniments and condiments as needed
  • maintain table setting by removing courses as completed replenishing utensils refilling beverages
  • conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • deliver bill in a timely manner and accurately process payment returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests
  • interact with the staff and guests in a positive manner to achieve 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • assist with other FOH duties including answering phones taking to go orders handling payments accepting reservations managing reservations to prevent over booking assisting hosts in greeting and seating guests assisting expos in delivering food assisting bussers with pre-bussing bussing and resetting tables
  • complete tasks according to needs of the restaurant for each shift
