Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years old
- Be an American citizen or green card holder
- Willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days per week for up to 28 weeks
- Meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- Pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other substances
- Ability to abstain from alcohol consumption
- Adhere to grooming standards regarding tattoos and piercings
- Commitment to shipboard emergency and safety training
- Understand and accept that this is a temporary employment position not extending beyond 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- At least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or green card holder
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work long hours and handle physical demands
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Prior hospitality or food service experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to comply with grooming standards and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Set up and break down meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour by arranging tables, linens, silverware, china, and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages ensuring presentation and garnish
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
