Job Requirements

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
  • strictly prohibit alcohol consumption during employment
  • comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • understand this is a temporary shipboard position not to extend beyond 28 weeks
  • maintain emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • have excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • possess a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • have the physical ability to meet moderate demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • be willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • comply with federal drug testing requirements
  • adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including arranging tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions kindly
  • relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentable and garnished items
  • perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and supporting evening entertainment
