Job Requirements

  • prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
  • providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
  • helping guests select menu items by thoroughly going over food and bar menus
  • recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef's features, and identifying wines
  • answering all food and beverage preparation questions thoroughly
  • making managers aware of any special accommodations such as food allergies
  • maintaining cleanliness of tables and dining area
  • completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties
